Social Services

Columbia Housing has a Memorandum of Agreement with Senior Resources, Inc. to provide services on-site at our senior properties and off-site at the Tillis Center and the Eastover Community Centers owned by Columbia Housing. Senior Resources is a non-profit that serves as the primary recipient of Department of Aging funding for the Midlands. Senior Resources operates a Wellness Center at the Tillis Center, located 2.3 miles from The Haven. We will encourage residents to participate in the Wellness Center at the Tillis Center. The Wellness Center provides nutritious meals, physical fitness and other activities, and companionship of peers. For many seniors, visits to the Wellness Centers may be their only opportunity to socialize with their peers, get some exercise and enjoy a hot meal. Transportation will be provided by the Columbia Housing Authority for seniors who do not have their own means of transportation.
